Teriyaki Chicken Bowls

1 ½ lbs. chicken
¾ c. water
½ c. soy sauce
¾ c. b. sugar
¼ t. garlic powder
1/8 t. ginger
½ t. cornstarch
Mix marinade ingredients, divide in half. Marinade chicken in one half for 2-3 hours. Cook other half, add cornstarch to thicken. BBQ Chicken and put over steamed veggies and rice. Pour sauce on top.
